SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — New Jersey’s attorney general has sued a Pennsylvania man she said marketed and sold illegal ghost guns to New Jersey residents.

Jordan Vinroe, owner of JSD Supply and Eagle Shows in Butler County, Pennsylvania is named in a civil suit by New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport.

In her suit, she alleged Vinroe allowed criminals, teenagers, and others who otherwise couldn’t buy a gun to skirt the legal process by selling individual components rather than a complete firearm.

“Ghost guns are often used in crimes,” she said, “and when they are, law enforcement cannot trace them. To make matters worse, people in the ghost gun industry often sell the parts to make them without background checks, without purchaser paper work, and often in cash.”

New Jersey has some of the most restrictive gun laws in America, and Davenport said that’s the reason for a record low number of shootings recorded in 2025. She said she intended to keep it that way.

According to Davenport, Vinroe placed billboards along the New Jersey Turnpike to advertise his business and the suit aims to hold him personally accountable.

This isn’t the first time the state is suing him. A 2023 lawsuit forced two of his companies into bankruptcy, but Davenport said that didn’t stop him.

KYW Newsradio could not reach Vinroe for comment.
