ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (KYW Newsradio) — A father has been charged in the death of his baby girl.
On Nov. 12 of last year, officers responded to the address of 27-year-old Antonio Reyes after a 911 call about an unresponsive infant. The infant, just three months old, was rushed to the hospital but died from her severe injuries: blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
Police did not provide any details about what happened before the call came through.
On Thursday, Reyes, of Atlantic City, was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter.
He is in police custody and scheduled to appear for a pre-detention hearing later this week.
