BRIGANTINE, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — New Jersey State Police are renewing calls for help solving a 44-year-old cold case.

On May 14, 1982, police said the skeletal remains of a man were found in a marshy meadow next to the Golden Hammock Thorofare in Brigantine City, Atlantic County.


They believe he was about 5-foot-6, around 165 pounds, and between 35 and 45 years old.

Investigators believe the man died between 1981 and 1982. His cause of death has not been released.
