PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The pilot of a single-engine airplane escaped injury after parachuting out of the aircraft when it crashed in Galloway Township on Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say the crash occurred in a wooded area near Liebig Street and Genoa Avenue shortly before 4 p.m.
The Galloway Township Police Department and other agencies are investigating the cause of the crash.
No one was injured. Police say there is no cause for alarm, and they advise avoiding the area.
