NORRISTOWN (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Montgomery County are searching for a 26-year-old man who they say struck and killed a 57-year-old pedestrian with his car Sunday night then fled the scene.
Police found 57-year-old Brian Clark unresponsive on West Main Street in Norristown, near Markley Street, at 10:48 p.m. on Sunday. A witness told them Clark was hit by a dark-colored SUV that was speeding eastbound on Main and then fled north on Markley.
Clark died from his injuries.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office says a warrant has been issued for Jean Carlos Emeraldas Cruz, who lives about a mile from where Clark was hit.
Cruz's coworker told Norristown police he was in the back seat when Cruz hit Clark, according to the criminal complaint. He says Cruz does not have a driver's license.
According to the complaint, that co-worker also says he helped Cruz try to hide the SUV by parking it on a side street and covering the front end and windshield damage with a sheet.
The co-worker is quoted in the complaint saying Cruz knew he hit someone and told him he was leaving town with his girlfriend and their children.
The charging documents say Cruz hasn't been seen since Monday.
