PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — PennDOT has reopened a section of North Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia after nine months of sinkhole repairs.

The stretch of Route 202 between Henderson Road and Saulin Boulevard has been closed since late February.

PennDOT crews have been reconstructing the roadway to reduce the risk of future sinkholes, which have plagued that stretch of road multiple times in the last few years.

As part of the $22.4 million sinkhole remediation project, PennDOT will soon work on the other side of the road. Officials say South Dekalb Pike will close for construction starting in early 2026.
