PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating two separate shootings Wednesday morning that left one man dead and two others critically wounded.
The first incident happened just before 7 a.m. along Tusculum Street, near Sixth Street, in Fairhill. Two men were shot, and they are both in critical condition at the hospital.
Detectives with the shooting investigation group are on the scene, collecting surveillance video and speaking with witnesses.
Hours later, around 10 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Thayer Street in Kensington and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he died a short time later.
There have been no arrests. Detectives did not say what sparked the gunfire in either shooting.
