
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Six people were shot outside of a nightclub in Northern Liberties early Sunday morning. Among the victims is a 26-year-old woman in critical condition.
Police say, just before 3:30 a.m. shots were fired into a crowd of people outside Trilogy Nightclub at Sixth and Spring Garden streets. In all, six people were hit.
A 26-year-old woman was hit once in the upper chest and taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Three other women and two men were also hit by gunfire and transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
One woman sustained a graze wound to her head and was shot in both feet, according to police, a 31-year-old was hit in her ankle and thigh, and a 30-year-old woman was shot in the back.
According to police reports, a 37-year-old man was shot twice in the lower back side, and a 29-year-old was hit in his right foot.
Police say the motive for the shooting is unclear. There have been no arrests, and no weapons have been recovered.
