PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating a deadly crash in the city's Olney neighborhood involving a motor scooter and a school bus.
It happened Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. near 2nd Street and Nedro Avenue.
Police say a 41-year-old was riding a motor scooter on the sidewalk along 2nd Street when he struck a traffic pole, hit a parked SUV then slammed into a school bus that was stopped at the light.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not said if any students were on board the bus at the time of the crash.
It's not clear what led to the crash.
