PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has declared a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for Monday, June 19.
The declaration affects several regions across the state, including the Philadelphia area and its surrounding counties.
During a Code Orange, officials suggest that kids, the elderly, people with respiratory issues, and other sensitive groups limit time spent outdoors.
