PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three people are injured after a multi-vehicle crash shut down I-76 westbound for hours Saturday morning.
According to our partners at NBC10, two vehicles — a gray SUV and U-Haul — crashed into each other just after 3 a.m.
They say the drivers stopped in the right lane and three people in the SUV got out to talk to the person in the U-Haul. That’s when a dump truck, traveling in the right lane, struck the back of the U-Haul and the three people from the SUV were hit.
All three were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where two of them are listed as extremely critical.
Lanes reopened around 11 a.m.
