PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A person of interest is in custody after a man was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery in the Logan neighborhood on Saturday night.
Philadelphia police said the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. in a parking lot on the 4800 block of North Broad Street between Loudon and Rockland streets.
The 40-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his left calf. He is in stable condition.
Police have a person of interest in custody, but have not recovered a weapon. They have recovered a shell casing.
The investigation is ongoing.
