PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There’s been a shooting at SEPTA’s City Hall Station.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. Friday on the northbound platform of the Broad Street Line.
SEPTA said a cashier reported hearing the gunshot.
Police said there was some sort of argument between two men who knew each other. One of them was shot in the torso. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police said the man who fired the shot turned himself in. Officials said he is a permitted gun owner.
Trains were bypassing the station.
