PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A person was struck by a train in Delaware County Friday afternoon.
SEPTA announced on X there are delays of up to 15 minutes on its Media/Wawa Line. The person, they say, was struck near the Fernwood-Yeadon Station.
The extent of the person's injuries are not yet known.
As of 5:30 p.m., SEPTA said passengers can board at normal platforms from Secane to 49th Street station, but delays of up to 10 minutes remain. Police activity is cleared.
