Man struck, killed by Broad Street Line train

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man was struck and killed by a SEPTA train on the Broad Street Line early Thursday morning.

It happened around 4 a.m. on the tracks at the Race-Vine Station in Center City.

Police have not identified the victim.

Express service on the line was suspended in both directions for some time, but SEPTA said it is back up and running without major delays.
