PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police have arrested a man they said stabbed his father to death in Hunting Park Saturday night.
Officials said it was just after 11:30 p.m. when officers responded to a home along the 600 block of West Wingohocking Street, where they found 61-year-old Kevin Jenkins on a front porch with multiple stab wounds to the neck.
He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police arrested the victim's son, 28-year-old Devin Jenkins, in connection with the stabbing. Investigators said the two had gotten into an argument before the son stabbed his father.
Devin Jenkins was treated at the hospital for a minor laceration to his finger before being processed by police. He is charged with murder.
The investigation remains ongoing.
