PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is in police custody after an argument escalated to a knife attack on a SEPTA bus.
A SEPTA spokesman says a woman riding the Route 48 bus was slashed after getting into verbal altercation with another passenger Friday afternoon.
It happened near West Susquehanna Avenue and North 29th Street in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. The suspect was quickly arrested by SEPTA police after the incident.
