VIDEO: Help Philly police identify suspects in deadly New Year's Day shooting

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police investigators have released video in a public effort to identify two male suspects and the two women who were with them during a fight on New Year's Day that turned deadly when both men took aim at a third man and shot him dead.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

On Jan. 1, 2022, around 1:30 a.m., an argument broke out between two men, as a group of people left a club in the 100 block of E. Luray Street.

As the men argued, two others retrieved handguns from their vehicle and fired at one of the men, striking him several times. He died from his wounds. Two more victims were wounded by gunfire and were expected to survive.

Investigators want to identify the two male offenders and the two women who were in their company. Investigators want also to talk to another man, who they are calling a "person of interest," who may have witnessed the incident.

The offenders appear to have been traveling in a white sedan with a woman at the wheel.

Police advise that, if anyone should see any of these suspects, they should not approach them but should call 911 immediately.

To submit a tip by phone, call 215-686-8477, or text a tip to 215.686.8477. All tips will be confidential.
