PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting two years ago.
Marvin Wicker, 60, was shot and killed just before 3 a.m. on Aug. 5, 2024 near the intersection of Rising Sun Avenue and Goodman Street in North Philadelphia, about a block from Temple Hospital.
Investigators released surveillance video Thursday with a person of interest wanted in connection with the shooting.
The video shows a man with facial hair, wearing a camouflage bucket hat, and riding a 10-speed bicycle on Westmoreland Street heading toward Germantown Avenue. A second clip released by police shows the man pull a gun and fire.
Police tell the public to not approach the man, and call 911 if they encounter him.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest and conviction.
