PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Philadelphia criminal judge has been suspended without pay after the state’s judicial conduct board found he violated the rules of ethics.

Scott DiClaudio — who had overseen many homicide appeal cases — was already on probation when he was accused of trying to manipulate a case under another city judge’s jurisdiction, tied to rapper Meek Mill.

DiClaudio is alleged to have asked Judge Zachary Shaffer to influence a gun case involving the rapper’s friend.

At a hearing in October, DiClaudio denied it. He was reelected this week to another term.

The investigation is still underway.
