PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Northeast Philadelphia elementary school will close for two weeks because of "multiple positive cases" of COVID-19.
William H. Loesche School in Somerton is reverting to all-virtual education between Monday and May 14, according to the school's website.
Students and staff are not allowed to return to the building during this time.
The School District of Philadelphia's COVID-19 dashboard lists at least six COVID-19 cases at Loesche this week.
The school has nearly 900 students and more than 120 staff members.
