Philadelphia among top 10 'most sinful' cities in America

ST. LOUIS and PHILADELPHIA (Audacy) - Las Vegas may be the "most sinful" city in America, but Philadelphia is not far behind.

Only five cities, led by "Sin City" itself, finished higher on the ranking than the City of Brotherly Love. WalletHub found Philadelphia to be No. 6 in the ranking which took 37 key indicators of evil deeds into account. The data set ranges from violent crimes per capita, to excessive drinking and adult entertainment establishments per capita.

Here's how Philadelphia ranked in six main categories of sinfulness:
No. 8 – Lust
No. 13 – Anger & Hatred
No. 18 – Vanity
No. 39 – Jealousy
No. 47 – Excesses & Vices
No. 67 – Greed
No. 81 – Laziness

The top 10 most sinful cities on the ranking are:
1. Las Vegas
2. St. Louis
3. Houston
4. Los Angeles
5. Denver
6. Philadelphia
7. Atlanta
8. Miami
9. Chicago
10. Memphis

Wilmington reached No. 31 in the rankings, with its worst category being anger and hatred, where it was in 11th place. Pittsburgh ranked 37th, due to its 11th place ranking in vanity.
