PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philly Pride is stepping out of the Gayborhood and onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Organizers of Philly Pride 365 said in a video shared on social media that they are turning the annual parade and festival “into a full-scale, can’t-miss celebration with three stages of nonstop live entertainment, high-energy moments around every corner, and an atmosphere that takes over the city in the best way possible.”
There will also be a Maker’s Market featuring local LGBTQIA+ artists and small businesses.
The event takes place on June 7.
However, unlike the street festivals of recent years, this one won’t be free. It’ll cost $10 to enter.
