PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The semiquincentennial fun is not over yet in Philadelphia. City officials have announced a scavenger hunt through the official Access Philly phone app.
The city has challenged residents and visitors to find all 25 artist-designed Liberty Bell replicas scattered across the city’s neighborhoods and win prizes including tickets to concerts; museums sporting events and even a reservation at the sold-out Diner en Blanc.
Philadelphia 2026 director Michael Neumis said some of the bells are in neighborhoods where festivals and concerts are scheduled through the fall.
“Philadelphia had a tremendous summer and it only continues,” he said. “The bells are a way to make sure that our residents and visitors continue to experience and build upon the momentum that we all just saw first hand.”
For the scavenger hunt, Neumis said you just have to find a bell, open the Access Philly phone app near it and check in.
“It literally takes you across Philadelphia, across different blocks, across different communities and through all of it you get a chance to win a lot of exciting big prizes,” he said.
Participants who find five bells will be entered to win prizes including tickets to the Foo Fighters on Thursday, UFC 330 on August 15 or the Aug. 18 Phillies game, including the Flo Rida postgame concert.
Finding 10 enters you to win a city cruise or reservations for Diner en Blanc; 15 bells for a chance to win for a pair of tickets to one of nine upcoming concerts, including Mt. Joy, Rush, Ed Sheeran, AC/DC and Bruno Mars. Finding 20 of the 25 bells gets you a shot at tickets to baseball, hockey, basketball or soccer games.
Neumis says the scavenger hunt will continue until the end of the year or until the prizes are gone, whichever comes first. Rules are on the app, which you can download from Apple or Google.
