PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — An 18-year-old man is fighting for his life after a shooting in Northeast Philadelphia Saturday night.
The shooting happened at about 8 p.m. at Unruh and Walker streets in Philadelphia's Tacony section. Police said it stemmed from a battle over drug territory. Roughly 70 shots were fired at the scene.
The 18-year-old victim, whom police did not name, was shot several times. He was went into surgery at Jefferson-Frankford Hospital.
Authorities said several people were captured on surveillance video opening fire on the victim from a car as he stood on a corner. Several cars and a corner store were also hit by bullets.
Police have made one arrest in the case.
