PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two people were killed when an SUV drove into the side of a house in Mullica Hill, Gloucester County, Saturday night.
Harrison Township police told our partners at NBC10 the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Banff Drive, near High Street and Route 45. The vehicle struck the first-floor living room of the home.
Authorities said the crash caused the house to catch fire but the flames were quickly extinguished.
The man and woman inside the SUV were pronounced dead. Authorities said no one inside the home was injured.
Investigators said the crash appears to have been accidental.
