FOLCROFT, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Delaware County say a missing child has been found and is safe.
10-year-old Mason Brooks originally disappeared Saturday, May 22 around 5:30 p.m. near his family's home at 2119 Delmar Drive in Folcroft.
The 4-foot-tall Brooks was wearing a red Phillies shirt, black shorts and no shoes when last seen.
An eyewitness said Brooks may have gotten into a white or silver car with unknown registration and a woman behind the wheel.
Police said three people were detained for questioning. No other information is available at this time.
Folcroft Deputy Police Chief Christopher Eiserman said Brooks has intellectual disabilities, and that according to a guardian, he was not known to leave the house.
"His grandmother says he doesn't leave the house unless it's with somebody that he knows," Eiserman said.
