PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are searching for a man they say tried to abduct a 2-year-old from his mother in North Philadelphia.
On Oct. 17 around noon, video shows the toddler walking with his mother on 11th Street, near Dauphin Street, when a man comes up and pulls the child away.
The mother was able to hold on to him, and the suspect fled across the street.
The suspect is believed to be in his 30s. He was wearing maroon sweatpants and a navy blue shirt, with a back brace or a light jacket around his waist.
