Philadelphia police commissioner self-quarantining after COVID-19 exposure

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw is self-quarantining after someone in her office tested positive for COVID-19.

The department's Public Affairs Unit said she found out about the possible exposure on Nov. 12 and has since remained in quarantine. She is working remotely.

Outlaw was informed on that date that an employee assigned to her immediate office had tested positive. As a result, the commissioner is following all protocols as advised by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
