PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have given a description of the vehicle used in the mass shooting near Olney Transportation Center, where six people were shot Monday afternoon. Police also publicly identified the man who was killed.
According to police, the vehicle is described as a silver Chrysler 300 SDN. It was described as having dark tinted windows with a custom grill, tinted headlamps and rear lamps, and low-riding tires.

A 26-year-old man, later identified as Steven Jones from the Fern Rock neighborhood, took several gunshot wounds to the chest in the drive-by shooting at about 2:15 p.m. near the corner of North Broad Street and West Chew Avenue in North Philadelphia, police say.
He was transported by police to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced dead just before 3 p.m.
The five surviving victims, one woman and four men, were all taken to Einstein and were listed in stable condition.
A woman, 28, was shot in the right shoulder. One man, 22, was shot in his right thigh. Another man, 24, was shot in his right forearm. Yet another man, 25, was shot in his right hand, and a 19-year-old man was shot in his right leg.
Deputy Commissioner Joel Dales told KYW Newsradio that someone opened fire from the back of a Chrysler 300 with tinted windows.
"So far, in the investigation, we found 18 casings and surveillance video that will help," said Dales.
Police said that the surveillance video showed someone firing at least 24 rounds from a semi-automatic handgun during the shooting. The shooter was sitting in the right rear seat of the car when firing the shots.
No suspect has been arrested, and no weapons have been recovered.
Police have offered a $20,000 reward in the case. They say to call the Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Division at 215-686-3334 or 215-686-3335, or e-mail information to tips@PhillyPolice.com.
The intersection of Broad and Chew was closed as police investigated the area. This is the second mass shooting this year within a short distance of Olney Transportation Center. Eight people were shot there in February.
At least 385 people have been shot and killed in Philadelphia in the 2021 calendar year, nearly 20% more than the number of deadly shooting victims at this time last year.
