PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Police are investigating two suspicious deaths early Wednesday morning in Philadelphia.

In Fairmount Park, police got a 911 call around 6 a.m. An unclothed woman's body had been set on fire at Strawberry Mansion Bridge Drive and Woodford Drive. This isn't far from the Dell Music Center.

The victim has not been identified, and there is no information from police as to what led to her death.

Hours earlier, close to 1 a.m., police say they found a man's body in a burning car in Kensington near Frankford Avenue and Bellmore Street.

"Burned beyond recognition," Chief Inspector Scott Small said. "Just like the entire interior and some of the exterior of the vehicle."

Small says the car didn't have a license plate, but police were able to get the vehical idenfitication number.

"We know that the vehicle was parked on the sidewalk on Bellmore at Frankford. It's does not appear that this vehicle was involved in an accident."

Police have made no arrests in either case. There is no indication from police at the moment that these two cases are connected.
