PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are searching for three men they said were involved in a shooting Friday night, one of three overnight incidents.
It happened inside a corner store at the intersection of Kensington and Torresdale avenues at around 10 p.m.
According to police, the men ran off after the victim, an unidentified man in his approximate mid-30s, was shot once in the head. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, and is listed in critical condition.
Three other people were shot during the early morning hours on Saturday.
Police said two women were injured during an incident near Atlantic Street and Kensington Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. A 27-year-old woman was shot in the hand, while a 30-year-old woman was struck in the arm and chest. Both victims were placed in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.
A 26-year-old woman walked into Temple University Hospital at 5:30 a.m. after being shot three times in the rear end. According to authorities, the victim did not cooperate with their efforts to investigate. They have yet to determine where the shooting happenes.
No arrests have been made in any of the cases. Anyone with information on these shootings is asked to contact police.
