PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating the double shooting of two 22-year-olds in Hunting Park, one of whom died.
Authorities say it happened along Bristol Street, near Seventh Street and Hunting Park Avenue, just before midnight on Thursday.
The man who died was shot in the back. The other victim was shot in the arm and is expected to physically recover.
There have now been 291 homicides victims so far in 2021 — still the highest at this point in the year in the city's history.
