PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating a series of break-ins at businesses and cars in Fishtown, and residents believe the same person may be responsible.
The owner of Vessel Coffee Collective on Frankford Avenue posted surveillance images on Facebook of a masked man with tattoos on his arms they said broke into the business on Thursday. Other businesses and people quickly chimed in, citing similar break-ins and thefts in the neighborhood.
A neighbor also posted a video of a similar-looking man breaking into a van outside of her home.
The East Kensington Neighbors Association is asking for anyone who recognizes the suspect to contact them.
Philadelphia detectives are investigating, but have not yet commented.
