PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have found a car wanted in connection with the fatal hit-and-run of 14-year-old Dawn Watson.
They say the vehicle of interest — a 2011 Mercedes Benz — was located Monday.
Watson was hit Thursday night while crossing Haverford Avenue at 66th Street with her mother. Police said the car was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Watson, who was in her first year at Cassidy Academics Plus School in Overbrook, died at the scene. Her mother wasn't injured.
