PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two young men are expected to be charged after they allegedly carjacked a Lyft driver, who in turn shot them.
The incident happened Monday in Southwest Philadelphia.
Authorities say the pair pulled a gun on the driver and tried to run him down, but the driver, who was licensed to carry, fired back at them.
One suspect was hit in the shoulder and is in critical condition at the hospital. The other was found later with a gunshot wound to his side.
Both remain in the hospital. The Lyft driver is not expected to be charged.
