PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have released new surveillance images of two suspects wanted in connection with the July 7 shooting that left three people dead and nine others wounded in the city’s Grays Ferry neighborhood.

The images, captured from a nearby store before shots rang out, show two men believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. Both are tall, slim, and have medium complexions. One is seen wearing a gray covering on his head and has sideburns. The other is described by investigators as having an “unkempt Afro.”

They are two of several suspects wanted in the shooting, which happened around 1 a.m. on Etting Street near Tasker Street. The gunfire killed 19-year-old Jason Reese, 23-year-old Zahir Wylie, and 24-year-old Azir Harris. Nine other victims, ranging in age from 15 to 24, were wounded.

Investigators believe the large crowd had gathered as part of a social media meet-up. Previously released surveillance video shows multiple suspects exchanging gunfire down the block.
