PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Washington Township, New Jersey, are looking for a group of people who left a restaurant without paying, then assaulted and abducted a waitress who confronted them about it.
It happened around 11:15 p.m. Saturday at the Nifty Fifties on Black Horse Pike in Turnersville.
Police say after the group ate, they attempted to leave without paying. When the waitress tried to stop them, they put her in their car and drove off. Police say she was assaulted, then left on the side of the road.
A white Dodge Durango driven by the accused was last seen traveling southbound on State Highway 42 toward Monroe Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Mike Longfellow via email or by calling 856-256-1212 or 856-589-0330 x1160.
