Police searching for group who assaulted, abducted waitress from NJ restaurant

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Washington Township, New Jersey, are looking for a group of people who left a restaurant without paying, then assaulted and abducted a waitress who confronted them about it.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. Saturday at the Nifty Fifties on Black Horse Pike in Turnersville.

Police say after the group ate, they attempted to leave without paying. When the waitress tried to stop them, they put her in their car and drove off. Police say she was assaulted, then left on the side of the road.
