PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for two teenage boys who ran into Tacony Creek Park after fleeing officers from a suspected stolen vehicle early Wednesday morning.
Officials said it was around 2 a.m .when officers stopped the vehicle along the 5100 block of Bingham Street near Roosevelt Boulevard.
Police said the boys got out of the vehicle and led officers on a foot chase. One of the boys ran into the woods to escape. The other boy jumped into the creek and swam to the other side to get away.
The investigation is ongoing.
