PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are trying to track down a person they say shot at a car near the Betsy Ross Bridge.
It happened around 8:16 a.m. Wednesday, according to investigators, near the Aramingo Avenue/Betsy Ross Bridge exit on I-95 northbound in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia.
Pennsylvania State Police say a man was driving in the left lane of I-95 when a silver Dodge sedan with tinted windows pulled alongside him. Someone fired one shot through his passenger side window.
The suspect then sped off, taking the exit. The victim was not hit.
Police say the shooter's car has paint chips missing from its rear bumper. Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
