PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police shot and killed a coyote that attacked a person and their dog in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, last week.
Police received multiple reports about an aggressive coyote in Wyncote on Aug. 21. Later that day, the animal attacked a person who was walking their dog in Curtis Dog Park.
Officers found the animal and killed it.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is testing its body for rabies.
