PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Norristown man is accused of following a man from a Bucks County casino to his home in Middlesex County, New Jersey, then shooting him in an attempted robbery.

Plainsboro Township police say Sree Aravapalli, 54, was shot multiple times on Tuesday in his home. Officers were called to the scene just after 3:30 a.m.

Aravapalli died at the hospital.

Investigators say 27-year-old Jekai Reid-John, of Norristown, followed Aravapalli from Parx Casino in Bensalem to his Plainsboro house, then shot him.

It is not known if the two men had any interaction prior to the shooting.

Reid-John is charged with first-degree murder.
