PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Six people are in the hospital after several shootings across North Philadelphia Monday night.
In Fairhill, police say three people were shot around 7:15 p.m. on East Cambria Street, near East Tusculum Street.
Police say a 20-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 44-year-old woman was shot in the back. Both are in critical condition. A 46-year-old man was also shot in the leg and taken to the hospital, where he is expected to physically recover.
Around the same time in Olney, police say a 14-year-old boy was shot near Second and Widener streets, about a mile from the One and Olney Shopping Center.
Officials say the boy was shot in the face and back. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
At this time, no arrests have been made in either shooting.
Then, around 8:40 p.m. in South Philadelphia, a 50-year-old woman was shot twice in the head. A man in his 50s was also shot in the head.
They were shot inside a home at South Bouvier and Wolf streets and are in critical condition at the hospital.
