PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are looking for a man who attacked and robbed a woman inside her apartment building in Germantown last month.
Authorities released video of the ambush, which happened on July 22 around 4:30 p.m. at the Alden Park Luxury Apartments, located at Wissahickon and Chelten avenues.
Video shows a woman walking down the hall of the building in the middle of the afternoon. The suspect — who had braids and was wearing a green hoodie — is seen coming up behind the victim.
He forces her down the hall and around the corner into an empty room, police said.
Officials said he took her bag and knocked her unconscious, then ran out of the building.
Anyone who knows the suspect should not approach him, police said. Anyone with information should call 911, call or text a tip to 215-686-8477, or submit a tip anonymously online.
