WILLISTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — The woman who shot at another car in Chester County last year was sentenced Monday.

Around 6:30 a.m. on May 2, 2024, Racquel Graham said another driver went from driving normally to about 15 mph on Goshen Road near Sugartown Road in Willistown.

The man told police that as he passed her on the left, he looked over and saw her point a gun out of her window and fire. The bullet hit the upper part of his passenger side door and shattered the window.

Graham told police someone with a similar car had been harassing her, but prosecutors said that while they have nearly a dozen prior incidents involving Graham, none of them matched the vehicle or person she fired at.

Graham is sentenced to nine-to-23 months in Chester County Prison

Graham’s lawyer asked for a sentence without time behind bars, saying she truly feared for her life that day.

But Chester County judge Patrick Carmody told Graham she is lucky he’s not sending her to state prison, noting he feels for her as he thinks there’s a mental health aspect, but he says she fired at someone who was simply driving to work.
