PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Saturday's sun and mild weather seem like a distant memory as the region woke up to a much different scene on Sunday.
What a difference a few hours makes.

Saturday, the area enjoyed a beautiful sunny day with high of 61.
Early Sunday morning, however, it was a different story. Many woke up to the temperatures in the low 30s, and an expected high of 36. Not only were the temperatures low, but snow fell overnight as well. That was quite a shock for people like Fausto Lugo, who woke up to grab breakfast.
"I didn't know it was gonna snow today," said Lugo. "But last night, we were barbecuing. We had it we took out the grill and we started barbecuing. And then I woke up this morning and it was unbelievable that it's snowing."
Lupo said he was not expecting to have to clean off his car and deal with the large flakes that came his way during his drive.
Ben Guiess from Downingtown was able to get out to go on a run and enjoy the weather on Saturday. He still got to enjoy his run Sunday, but things were a little different when he drove down to Kelly Drive. He had to deal with slippery roads and big snowflakes.
"I thought, am I still going to be able to get out there and run?' but roads weren't too bad," said Guiess. "Just gonna enjoy the weather, enjoy the snow."
Instead of shorts, Guiess said it was a day for a jacket and other warmer apparel.
Others told KYW Newsradio they hope the drastic temperature change doesn't leave them with the sniffles.
