PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two men have been charged in connection with a series of thefts, vandalism and fraud in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police say 20-year-old Robert Reynolds faces a slew of charges for about a dozen incidents, including car theft and break-ins, spanning from April 2023 to July 2024.

Many of the thefts happened in the early morning hours around Lawncrest, Torresdale, Bustleton and surrounding areas.

Detectives pulled together surveillance videos from businesses and residents, which helped them identify Reynolds as the suspect. They arrested him in July.

He’s now charged with multiple counts of theft, criminal mischief offenses, and gun and fraud charges.

Prosecutors dropped a receiving stolen property case against him in April.

Raekwon Reynolds, 26, was also charged with robbery, assault and theft. It’s unclear if the two are related.

The 26-year-old was arrested in October 2023 in Bensalem and has an open case from June, for which he faces dozens of charges, including conspiracy, theft from a motor vehicle, and criminal mischief. He now faces additional offenses including robbery, conspiracy and assault.
