PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A research dean at Rutgers University was arrested after he allegedly took upskirt videos at work.
An investigation led police to obtain a search warrant for devices owned by 51-year-old Joshua Kohut, of Cranbury. Investigators said they found upskirt videos on his phone, allegedly recorded while he was working as a research dean for Rutgers’ School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said recording videos like this is not only disturbing, but it’s also a criminal act, and the state will “prosecute accordingly.”
Kohut is charged with fourth-degree invasion of privacy. He faces up to 18 months in prison and a fine up to $10,000 if convicted.
