Second-generation owner of Termini Brothers Bakery dies

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Termini Brothers Bakery announced on social media that second-generation owner Vincent Termini Sr. has died.

His family called him “a man of great respect, deep humility, and even deeper heart.” They said he took tremendous pride in the century-old business, building its South Philly legacy on the values of “hard work, commitment to tradition and love.”

According to the tribute, one of Termini’s favorite traditions was greeting his loyal customers at the door of his flagship store on South Eighth Street every Christmas Eve. Shoppers would spend hours waiting in line.

Details about Termini’s death and possible celebrations of his life have not been released at this time.
