PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — SEPTA riders will see some relief this week as Regional Rail express trains resume Monday for the evening rush.
However, SEPTA said there are still no express trains for the morning rush, so riders could continue to see crowded trains and skipped stations.
Trains have been impacted since the federally mandated inspections on aging cars were ordered at the beginning of October.
SEPTA completed those inspections earlier this month but said there will still be disruptions until January.
Meanwhile, the trolley tunnel in Center City is expected to stay closed this week for repairs.
